Optional website analytics

With your permission, we use Google Analytics on our company website to understand page visits, phone and email link clicks, and successful enquiry submissions. You can accept or reject analytics, and change your choice using Analytics preferences. Rejecting analytics does not prevent you from using the website or submitting an enquiry.

• We do not send enquiry names, email addresses, phone numbers, property addresses, map coordinates, messages, document contents or enquiry reference numbers to Google Analytics.
• With analytics enabled, we keep a coded receipt marker and its creation time in your browser to avoid counting the same enquiry twice. This marker is not sent to Google. It is used for a seven-day replay window; expired markers are removed when you next open the website or submit a measured enquiry.
• We record the referring website’s origin, without its page path, search query or fragment, to understand how visitors find us.
• Analytics uses cookies and technical information about your browser and device. Google may process this information outside Australia. Advertising personalisation and Google Signals are disabled.

Rejecting or withdrawing analytics stops future collection and removes these receipt markers from your browser when browser storage is accessible. It does not automatically remove information already collected by Google. Contact MGS with privacy enquiries. Information we collect

We take data security seriously and use industry-standard safeguards to protect your information from unauthorized access, alteration, misuse, or disclosure. While we take all reasonable measures to ensure protection, no online transmission or storage method can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.

Service providers and overseas processing

We may use trusted third-party service providers for:

• Google Firebase hosts this website. Enquiry details and uploaded documents are stored privately in Melbourne, Australia, using Cloud Firestore and Cloud Storage.
• Postmark delivers enquiry notifications and customer acknowledgements. Notifications sent to authorised MGS staff include enquiry details and either document attachments or private document download links. Anyone with a download link can access that document until the link expires. This email processing may occur outside Australia, including in the United States. Copies are also held in the receiving email systems.
• Google Maps provides address search and maps. Firebase App Check and Google reCAPTCHA Enterprise help protect our submission form against abuse and may process browser, device and network information.

Third-party services have their own privacy policies. Links to external websites are provided for convenience; their operators are responsible for how they handle information on those websites.

Your rights

You have the right to:

• Access, update, or request deletion of your personal information.
• Withdraw consent for certain data uses where applicable.
• Ask questions about how your data is collected and used.
