The right information, at the right stage

When this service helps

When design or construction levels need checking, a targeted survey provides measurements against the nominated reference datum. This helps your project team compare the site with the relevant drawings.

Clear, agreed outputs

What you receive

A level-survey record covering the agreed measurements and reference information. Depending on the agreed scope, this includes:

  1. Measured points and the reference datum used

  2. The survey date and relevant reference information

  3. Comparison with nominated design levels where agreed

Before you begin

Your questions, answered

Are all site levels measured to AHD?

No. Some drawings use an assumed local datum. The required reference must be identified so that levels from different documents can be compared correctly.

What should I send with my enquiry?

Send your site address, proposed works, available plans or reports, access details and preferred timing. You can enquire before all plans are available.

When can the work be arranged?

Tell us your preferred timing and any access constraints. We’ll confirm the site visit and reporting timeframes for the agreed work before it begins.
